Project Overview
Excel Healthcare, a unit of Excel Group, is developing a 75-bed comprehensive cancer care institution at Sooriyur, Tiruchirappalli district.
Designed as an integrated oncology centre, the institution will bring advanced diagnosis, medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, chemotherapy, nuclear medicine, pathology, rehabilitation, supportive care and palliative care together within a coordinated healthcare environment.
The initiative aims to reduce the medical, financial and emotional burden experienced by patients and families who currently travel long distances to metropolitan cities for specialised cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Supporting this initiative, Sughavazhvu Healthcare, a Section 8 not-for-profit entity under Excel Group, mobilizes CSR and philanthropic support for critical oncology and imaging equipment.

The hospital has state-of-the-art diagnostic health care facilities and a complete comprehensive cancer care and treatment centre with Medical, Surgical and Radiation Oncology and Nuclear medicines providing a comprehensive therapeutic platform to the cancer patients and palliative care for the end-of-life patients.
